Posters

Below is a collection of my academic posters. The first and last posters in this list were both presented at Western Pennsylvania Undergraduate Psychology Conference (WPUPC), one year apart. The middle poster is a companion piece to one of my papers published in The Lectern journal, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes: The Effect of Non-Verbal Cues on Collaboration.

The Sleep Study: Snoring, Difficulties, and Duration

My second behavioral study, focused on how snoring could be related to sleep duration and sleeping difficulties. Data was provided by Wave IV of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health). Ultimately, I was unable to find any statistically significant correlations between my variables.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes: The Effect of Non-Verbal Cues on Collaboration

An experiment I conducted exploring the potential impact of collaborative ability when face-to-face settings are replaced with remote environments. Using a cooperative and dialogue heavy task, I measured success rates of the two groups. In the end, I found no evidence to support the claim that in-person teamwork is better than remote.

How General Health Perceptions are Related to Individual Aspects of Health in Adults in the United States

My first behavioral study with the Add Health data set. The topic is a little less focused here admittedly, so instead I want to highlight how the variables were measured. Both of my Add Health projects used SAS Studio to code statistical tests using the variables provided in the dataset. This program even provided the graphs used on the posters!
